Content Strategist

About the job…

Eminent SEO is looking for a social media pro to join our team and take our social media marketing campaigns to the next level. Key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Execute innovative social media campaigns for a variety of clients across different industries: restaurant, healthcare, cannabis, auto & more.
  • Write and develop strategic social media content, taking ownership of our clients’ editorial calendars.
  • Collaborate with our design and production teams to help actualize the social content calendar on deadlines.
  • Provide recommendations and identify potential opportunities for growing digital presence using a deep understanding of social platform optimization.
  • Report and analyze on campaign metrics, leveraging the data to improve or adjust social strategy as needed.
  • Regularly monitor community platforms (blogs, forums, etc), and drive meaningful engagement between brand and audience by responding to comments, questions, direct messages and more.
  • Day-to-day management of social media content.
  • Ensure consistency and on-brand voice across all social platforms.

About you…

The minimum requirements for this role are:

  • 5+ years in a social media manager or senior content writer role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, Communications, Advertising or related.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced agency and/or handling multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • 3+ years of experience overseeing paid media campaigns.
  • Excellent written and communication skills. *We will ask for work samples.
  • Understanding of how to write and optimize content between each platform: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business and more.
  • Proven experience with managing branded/corporate social accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. (Your personal accounts do NOT count.)
  • Proven understanding of emerging digital trends and technologies.
  • Outstanding organizational, teamwork and time-management skills.
  • Can pick up new technologies quickly.

Bonus points if you…

  • Have marketing OR copywriting experience with healthcare, restaurant, cannabis and/or wellness brands.
  • Understand SEO, including keyword research.
  • Experience with Social Report, Facebook Ad Manager, Dropbox, Google Analytics.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knack for story-telling and innovation.
  • Have experience with influencer marketing.

About the job…

Reporting directly to the Creative Director, this collaborative role will result in a website brand that is consistent and a successful user experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the UI/UX research and design, wireframes, sketches, user journey mapping and analyzing the results with feedback that will help shape the look, feel and experience of Eminent SEO’s solutions.

As the Lead UI/UX Designer, you will

  • Help to define the vision & identity for brand solutions.
  • Strategically drive a best practices approach for user-centric design through research, testing, user feedback, user interface possibilities, data accessibility, and compatibility across multiple versions of the same platform (web browsers, mobile OS, etc.)
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other designers on the team while consistently applying best practices to all assignments, including the definition of internal design UI standards.
  • Work with product managers, technical leads and design team to identify the user experience for ESEO services and platforms and articulate them in visual design requirements and specifications for use by internal and external teams. Ensure that design production is efficient and delivered at the best quality.
  • Deliver on product and design standards, while supporting rapid iteration of ideas via mock-ups and prototypes, or other methods as needed
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and visual design reviews for UX team
  • Effectively present UX team’s prototyped concepts in both ad-hoc and formal presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of what’s new in user experience, identifying opportunities to and experimenting with applying new interaction and graphic patterns

About you…

The minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in User Centered Design/Human Centered Design, Communication Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Design, or related discipline or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design
  • Expert knowledge of user experience design planning processes
  • Expert information architecture, Interaction design, visual design skills on multi-platforms
  • Design experience in web, mobile, tablet, and/or desktop software
  • Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite: Emphasis on XD and XD Prototyping, Illustrator, Photoshop, InVision, Target, and other design software)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
  • Experience driving design decisions for e-commerce solutions
  • Experience working iteratively in cross-functional, agile environments alongside a geographically diverse team

Bonus points if you…

  • Have video production experience
  • Have design experience with healthcare, restaurant, cannabis and/or wellness brands.
  • Understand SEO, including keyword research.
  • Experience with social media and print design.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knack for story-telling and innovation.
