Facebook announces “Interest Lists”

Looks like Facebook decided to borrow an idea from Twitter and Pinterest as it introduced its idea of “Interest Lists” today, that you create by incorporating posts from pages and public figures under a designated label. Once you’ve created your ‘Interest Lists’ you have the ability to allow other Facebooker’s to subscribe to them or keep them private.

Facebook Software Engineer Eric Faller said:

Essentially the interest lists can help you turn Facebook into your own personalized newspaper based on categories and topics that you list.

Will you Create or Subscribe to an Interest List?

Facebook will be rolling out with the Interest List in the coming week but if you want to start playing with this feature visit the Interest List link and create your own or subscribe to some great lists!
